An exquisite piece of American estate jewelry. This dainty Edwardian-era bar pin was crafted by the prestigious Newark, New Jersey jewelry house Wordley, Allsopp & Bliss (operating c. 1910s–1930s), renowned for producing high-end fine jewelry for elite luxury retailers like Tiffany & Co.
The brooch features a beautifully engineered, openwork box gallery wall that allows maximum light to enter from beneath the stones, enhancing their natural brilliance.

  • Amethysts: Three (3) vibrant, round purple amethysts measuring approximately 3.4 mm each, safely secured in deep gold bezels.
  • Pearls: Two (2) regularly shaped round natural pearls measuring approximately 3.2 mm each, nestled securely into the top framework.

Condition:
Excellent antique condition. The gold filigree is clean and the gemstones are securely set. The safety lever opens and closes smoothly, it moves with lighter resistance due to age but remains fully functional and wearable. The pin stem is ever to slightly wavy.
